Social Marketing focuses on attitude and behaviour change for social good. By the adaptation of marketing tools and principles from multidisciplinary fields, social marketing has been developing own theories to become an effective way to act towards global or local social problems that call for citizens’ response. Public health is one of the major topics social marketing has been applied to. This webinar will focus on social marketing techniques to promote attitude and behavior change, both by the exchange process of cost/benefit, as the provision of opportunities to change, by the delivery of social products and effective communication messages. The session presents a practical application of social marketing frameworks to global epidemics, with a special focus on COVID-19.
