Webinar co-hosted by EUA, ENQA and EQAR

A recording of the webinar is available on the EUA YouTube Channel.

An important factor in smooth and efficient academic recognition is easy access to information about institutions and programmes, including whether they have undergone external quality assurance in line with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.

This webinar explored how the recently launched Database of External Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR) aims to make this information more readily available by collecting in one place the reports and decisions published by quality assurance agencies that are registered on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

Participants of the webinar gained an insight into the rationale and uses of DEQAR, and heard perspectives from different stakeholders about how the availability and transparency of information about external quality assurance can facilitate the daily work of those making recognition decisions.

Speakers:
Tia Loukkola, Director of Institutional Development, EUA
Samer Alzaidy, Policy Officer, NUFFIC
Colin Tück, Director, EQAR

Moderator:
Maria Kelo, Director, ENQA

DEQAR is produced and maintained by EQAR. EUA is a partner in the project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Further information about the project is available here.
