”Are you interested in an international career?”, Anna Frick asked the audience when she lectured on career opportunities 20 October, introducing the homecoming weekend at Lund University School of Economics and Management / LUSEM.
Anna Frick, an alumna of LUSEM, joined the World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington, D.C. in 2013. She works with external sourcing and recruitment and is also responsible for the use of social media for this purpose. Anna’s title is Recruiter, HR Talent Acquisition. Before joining the WBG she worked in London for 9 years, primarily with PwC advisory services. Anna has an MSc in International Business Administration and she has also studied at University of Cologne, Autonomous University in Barcelona and at Sorbonne in Paris.
The students wanted to know more about what the World Bank Group is looking for when they search for new employees and how to apply for a job there and listened attentively when Anna shared her career journey and gave some useful career advice.
