Dear colleagues,


CEC Fellows welcomes all members to participate in the next concept seminar on Landscape, at the 5th of June. Researchers from different disciplines will give their views to straightening out the concept of Landscape as a research perspective for us. We are planning two more seminars during autumn 2019, and if you have suggestions for a concept to discuss please let us know!

The European Commission calls for experts to the advisory boards for the Horizon Europe Missions, and also don´t miss FORMAS pre-announcement on the call "To realize the global sustainability goals", to be announced 11th of Oct.

1. My latest publication was a chapter in the book Anthropocene Encounters on how human agency and socio-ecological relations is being imagined in literary fiction.You find the book chapter here.

2. As a young researcher it is a good way to get an idea of what reserach is being done on climate and other environmental issues and who the people are.

1. A reassessment of pre-industrial fire emissions using up-to-date wildfire models indicates an underestimation of pre-industrial atmospheric aerosol-load which in turn reduces the anthropogenic impact on the aerosol forcing significantly. You find the publication in Nature Communication here.

2. I am a CEC-fellow because I am interested in the Earth-system as a whole and CEC provides an environment for collaboration and exchange with colleagues working on many different aspects of it.
