Social resilience webinars The focus of the webinars are social resilience in crisis times. The Social Resilience Theme is devoted to stimulating critical cross- and interdisciplinary research on resilience, theoretically, methodologically, and empirically. Social resilience and crises tend to be intimately intertwined with one another. With this webinar series, we welcome various audiences to participate in examining social resilience in crisis times as shaped in various contexts.

MIRAI 2.0: Participate in Research and Innovation Week in Japan Date: 15-18 November 2022 The conference “Sharing ONE future: Integrative Knowledge and Sustainable Transformation towards a better world” will be held at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, to meet and discuss major societal challenges and to find partners for new research projects. Especially early career researchers and doctoral students are welcome to apply for travel grants to participate! Behind the conference is MIRAI 2.0, a collaborative project between 20 Swedish and Japanese universities in the subject areas of artificial intelligence, ageing, sustainability, materials science, innovation and entrepreneurship. LU: Call for applications for university-wide funding for Interdisciplinary projects focusing on Agenda 2030 and sustainable development Deadline: 25 November Lund University has set aside up to SEK 100 million for a university-wide investment in excellence at Lund University with a focus on Agenda 2030 and sustainable development for the period 2021-2025. The Research Board is now announcing funding for interdisciplinary projects for the second and final time. Formas upcoming: The connections between climate change, water and biodiversity Opens: 5 January 2023, Deadline: 30 March 2023 We plan to open a call that focuses on the connections between climate change, water and biodiversity and how these challenges can be managed from a holistic perspective. The call will be open to researchers from all disciplines. We intend to finance major research projects on this theme in two stages of four years, of which this call refers to stage 1.
