Delta i forumet Reconnecting for a Sustainable Future i Punta Arenas i Chile 7-11 november 2022.

Efter ett ofrivilligt stopp på grund av coronapandemin återupptar ACCESS (Academic Collaboration Chile Sweden) sina aktiviteter. LU erbjuder möjligheten för doktorander, lärare och forskare från alla ämnes-områden att delta i årets forum som består av 13 olika forskningsspår s.k. ”Research themes”.

Collaborate with Chile!
Join the Forum Reconnecting for a Sustainable Future in Punta Arenas in Chile 7-11 November 2022.

After an involuntary stop due to the corona pandemic, ACCESS (Academic Collaboration Chile Sweden) resumes its activities. LU offers the opportunity for doctoral students, teachers, and researchers from all subject areas to participate in this year's forum, which consists of 13 different research tracks, so-called "Research themes".

Launch of STINT Internationalisation Index 2022
Time: Wednesday 25 May 2022 at 14:00-16:00 (CEST)
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams.
Registration deadline: 20 May

New results for STINT Internationalisation Index are presented. How has the pandemic influenced the internationalisation at the Swedish higher education institutions? At the hybrid seminar, Dr. Sonia Feigenbaum, will deliver a keynote about the development of comprehensive internationalisation at The University of Texas at Austin.

Since 2012, STINT Internationalisation Index shows how international Swedish higher education institutions are, based on a number of factors such as research, the international mobility of students and staff, and teaching offered in languages other than Swedish. The Index includes the 28 higher education institutions with substantial research volumes and is updated annually.

Lärarmobilitet med Erasmus+ sommar 2022
Om du planerar att söka Erasmus+ medel för lärar-mobilitet under sommaren i Europa måste du lämna in din ansökan senast den 3 juni för att medel ska hinna beviljas före semesterperioden.

Teaching staff mobility with Erasmus+ summer 2022
If you plan to apply for Erasmus+ funding for teaching staff mobility during the summer in Europe, you must submit your application by 3 June for funding to be granted before the holiday period.

Medel för indo-nordiska samarbeten – ansökan öppen
Nordic Centre in India (NCI) utlyser medel för samarbete mellan de nordiska medlemsuniversiteten och indiska lärosäten. Aktiviteterna kan omfatta forskningsprojekt, konferenser, workshops, nätverksaktiviteter samt stöd för resor som planeras från vintern 2022 fram till november 2023.

NCI ställer 10 000 euro till förfogande. Ansökningar kan finansieras med upp till 5 000 euro per projekt. Sökande ska vara doktorander eller forskare anställda vid nordiska medlemsuniversitet.

Ansökningsperiod: 20 maj – 30 augusti 2022

Indo-Nordic collaboration grants – Call is open
The Nordic Centre in India (NCI) announces funding for co-operation between the Nordic member universities and Indian universities. The activities can include research projects, conferences, workshops, networking activities and support for travel planned to be carried out from the winter of 2022 until November 2023.

NCI is making available EUR 10 000. Applications can be funded with up to EUR 5 000 per project. Applicants must be doctoral level researchers and above, employed at NCI member universities.

Application period: 20 May – 30 August 2022

Frömedel för sino-nordiska forskningssamarbeten – ansökan öppen
Vill du förbereda ett forskningsprojekt och skriva en ansökan för ett större externt anslag i samarbete med nordiska och kinesiska forskare? Ansökan är nu öppen för Nordic Centre Planning Grant, tre eller fyra planeringsbidrag om vardera 10 000 euro för projekt inom Nordic Centres fyra tvärvetenskapliga tematiska fokusområden:
  • Sino-nordiska perspektiv
  • Hållbar utveckling
  • Digitalisering och teknik
  • Hälsa och välfärd
Syftet är att stödja utvecklingen av starka och strategiska forsknings- och innovationspartnerskap mellan nordiska och kinesiska universitet, samt att ge forskare från universitet som är medlemmar i Nordic Centre-samarbetet bättre möjligheter att förbereda sig för större gemensamma forskningsprojekt och skriva förslag på större externa forskningsanslag.

Ansökningsperiod: 15 mars – 1 oktober 2022

Bidraget är ett engångsbelopp på 10 000 euro per projekt. Medlen kan användas för kostnader relaterade till förberedelsearbete för ansökan för ett större externt anslag såsom lönekostnader för att möjliggöra arbetstid för att förbereda ansökan, kostnader för pilotstudier, resor, möten eller andra kostnader för att förbereda projektet och bygga upp partnerskapsstrukturen.

Seed funding for Sino-Nordic research collaboration – Call is open
Do you want to prepare a research project and write a proposal for a major external grant, in cooperation with Nordic and Chinese researchers? Application is now open for the Nordic Centre Planning Grant, three or four planning grants of EUR 10 000 each for projects within the Nordic Centre’s four interdisciplinary thematic focus areas:
  • Sino-Nordic perspectives
  • Sustainable development
  • Digitalization and technology
  • Health and welfare
The purpose is to support the development of strong and strategic research and innovation partnerships between Nordic and Chinese universities, and to give researchers from the Nordic Centre member institutions better opportunities to prepare for larger joint research projects and write proposals for major external research grants.

Application period: 15 March – 1 October 2022

The grant is a lump sum of EUR 10 000 per project. The funds may be used for costs related to the project application development such as salary costs creating focused time to prepare the application, pilot study costs, travel, meetings, or other costs for preparing the project and build the partnership structure.

EUA Webinar: “What next for global higher education?”
14 June 16:00 CEST

In late May 2022, governments and universities from around the world will meet in Barcelona for the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference. This event aims to set out the global vision for higher education and higher education policies until 2030. The webinar will look at trends and ambitions for global higher education for the next decade, discussing how institutions and countries can work together for the benefit of a global knowledge community.
