The workshop takes place on 30 November – 4 December 2020. The 2020 theme Modern Slavery, Forced Labour and Human Trafficking: Research Roadmaps to 2030 virtual workshop will be hosted by the University of Nottingham’s Researcher Academy and the Rights Lab - the world’s largest and leading group of modern slavery researchers and will mark the UN’s International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.

Early career researchers in forest ecology, archaeology, paleoecology, climate science or social sciences with focus on the tropics are invited to join the FOREPAST (Improving tropical forest resilience to human-climate pressures – learning from the past to guide the future) project.
FOREPAST is a one-year long project funded by the Universitas 21 initiative that aims to bring together early career researchers from multiple disciplines to address how tropical forests can be preserved under the multiple pressures from climate change and human activities.
Central to FOREPAST is a series of webinars for and by early career researchers.

The ERRIN Network (European Regions Research and Innovation Network) announces this year’s Erasmus+ Project Development Workshop which is dedicated to global competences, based on four sub-themes: skills for the Green Deal, digital skills, intercultural skills, and lifelong skills.
During the workshop there will be presentations on the Erasmus+ programme in the next programming period. And 14 organisations are looking for partners to join their consortium to apply for the upcoming Erasmus+ calls.
