Staff Week för EUGLOH Partners @ LMU München – 26-29 september 2022
LU:s partner i EUGLOH – LMU i München – arrangerar en Staff Week i slutet av september på temat ”Skills of the Future”.

I programmet ingår jobbskuggning på följande teman: karriärvägledning, internationella relationer, pedagogisk utveckling, bibliotek, entreprenörskap och kommunikation & eventuellt andra områden beroende på intresse.

Från LU kommer 10 personer att kunna delta. Det är inte ett krav att man ska ha deltagit i workshoppen som hölls online i februari. Om du tycker att programmet är intressent och relevant för ditt arbete är du välkommen att ansöka.

Ett urval kommer att göras bland de sökande för att få en bra spridning mellan olika delar av LU och yrkeskategorier och se till att så många som möjligt får möjlighet att delta i LMU:s Staff Week.

Staff Week for EUGLOH Partners @ LMU Munich – 26-29 September 2022
LU's partner in EUGLOH – LMU in Munich – is arranging a Staff Week at the end of September on the theme “Skills of the Future”.

The programme includes job shadowing on the following themes: career guidance, international relations, educational development, libraries, entrepreneurship and communication & possibly other areas depending on interest.

From LU, 10 people will be able to participate. It is not a requirement that you have participated in the workshop that was held online in February. If you think the programme is interesting and relevant to your work, you are welcome to apply.

A selection will be made among the applicants to get a good spread between different parts of LU and professional categories and ensure that as many as possible can participate in LMU's Staff Week.

Erasmus+ projektworkshop
Om du planerar att söka Erasmus+ medel för partnerskap för innovation kan du delta i den workshop som ERRIN (European Regions Research and Innovation Network) anordnar i Bryssel den 22–23 november 2022.

Du ansöker genom att skicka in en kort beskrivning av din projektidé senast den 24 augusti 2022.

Erasmus+ project development workshop
If you plan to apply for Erasmus+ funding for Partnerships for Innovation you may participate in the workshop organised by ERRIN (European Regions Research and Innovation Network) that takes place in Brussels 22–23 November 2022.

You apply by submitting a short project description by 24 August 2022.

MIRAI 2.0: Delta i forsknings- och innovationsvecka i Japan
Den 15-18 november arrangeras konferensen “Sharing ONE future: Integrative Knowledge and Sustainable Transformation towards a better world” vid Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. Där träffas svenska och japanska forskare för att diskutera stora samhällsutmaningar och för att hitta samarbets-partners till nya forskningsprojekt. Framför allt forskare tidigt i karriären och doktorander är välkomna att ansöka om resebidrag för att delta!

Bakom konferensen står MIRAI 2.0, ett samarbets-projekt mellan 20 svenska och japanska lärosäten inom ämnesområdena artificiell intelligens, åldrande, hållbarhet, materialvetenskap, innovation och entreprenörskap.

Resebidrag till konferensen kommer att finnas tillgängliga för medverkande från LU.

MIRAI 2.0: Participate in Research and Innovation Week in Japan
On 15-18 November, the conference “Sharing ONE future: Integrative Knowledge and Sustainable Transformation towards a better world” will be held at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. There, Swedish and Japanese researchers will meet to discuss major societal challenges and to find partners for new research projects. Especially early career researchers and doctoral students are welcome to apply for travel grants to participate!

Behind the conference is MIRAI 2.0, a collaborative project between 20 Swedish and Japanese universities in the subject areas of artificial intelligence, ageing, sustainability, materials science, innovation and entrepreneurship.

More information about the Research and Innovation Week (detailed programme to be published no later than 9 September)

Travel grants for the conference will be available for participants from LU.

The Baltic University Programme Teachers’ Course
Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education
 
The aim of the BUP Teachers’ Course is to better integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into the teaching, courses and study programmes. The emphasis is on teaching methodology by e-learning and two workshops. The course also includes a project part and a possibility to publish the result of the project in a peer review journal.
  • The target group is educators, teachers, and researchers in Higher Education within the BUP
  • Course duration in total: September 2022 – March 2023
  • Workshops: 11-13 October 2022 at Tallinn University, Estonia.
  • February/March 2023 (time and place to be decided during the first workshop) 
Application deadline: 18 August 2022

Akademiskt samarbete i Östersjöregionen
Svenska institutet (SI) utlyser projektfinansiering för stöd till akademin i Ukraina. Utlysningen riktar sig till svenska universitet, högskolor samt forskningsinstitut, som vill bidra till Ukrainas möjligheter att bibehålla sina internationella akademiska nätverk och samarbeten, säkra kapacitet att kunna fortsätta bedriva utbildning och forskning, samt förutsättningar att inkludera akademin som stöd i återuppbyggnadsarbetet.

Sista ansökningsdag: 30 september 2022.

The Swedish Institute (SI) offers funding to Swedish universities and research institutes, for bilateral or multilateral projects supporting academic institutions and academic target groups in Ukraine.

Stipendieprogrammet MFS kommer att läggas ner
Minor Field Studies-stipendieprogrammet (MFS) har funnits i 54 år. På grund av Regeringens beslut att minska budgeten till Sida läggs följande Sida-finansierade program ned: MFS, Linnaeus-Palme och Praktikantprogrammet.

Resterande MFS-medel utlyses inför vt2023
Vid två tillfällen kommer resterande MFS-stipendie-medel att utlysas för studenter för fältstudier våren 2023:
  • 5–25 oktober 2022
  • 15–30 januari 2023

MFS-stipendiet ger LU-studenter möjlighet att genomföra fältstudier i ett utvecklingsland under 8 veckor med syfte att samla material till en uppsats på kandidat-, magister- och masternivå.

The MFS scholarship pro-gramme will be discontinued
The Minor Field Studies Scholarship Programme (MFS) has been in place for 54 years. Due to the Government's decision to reduce the budget for Sida, the following Sida-funded programmes will be discontinued: MFS, Linnaeus-Palme and the Trainee Programme.

The remaining MFS funds are announced for spring 2023
On two occasions, the remaining MFS scholarship funds will be announced for students for field studies spring 2023:
  • 5–25 October 2022
  • 15–30 January 2023
This is MFS
The MFS scholarship gives LU students the opportunity to complete field studies in a developing country for 8 weeks with the aim of collecting material for an essay at the bachelor's and master's level.
