The purpose of Alliance day is to celebrate and acknowledge the EUGLOH alliance. Each year the Alliance Day has a new topic. This year’s topic is about exploring the world with today’s constraints. How can we develop our curiosity in times when travel and exploration are limited and increasingly shifting to virtual spaces? How can we create a sense of belonging and closeness? Come cele-brate our 2021 Alliance Day and learn more about exploring the world with today's constraints!
Some of the activities are: A round-table with vice-chancellors from each EUGLOH university connected to the topic and about constructing EUGLOH with today's constraints. Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education, Kristin Wallengren will participate from Lund University, a cook-along with a French chef, virtual yoga, concerts and an intercultural quiz and much more.
All students and staff are welcome and the cele-brations will take place on 12 May 10:00-17:00.

"What’s your research about?" A question you might have received many times as a doctoral student. Now you can showcase your thesis topic in a fun and eye-catching way! The Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) competition challenges doctoral candidates at any stage of their candidature to present their projects in a 60-second audio-visual digital display. Using the competition template, you are tasked with developing a striking e-poster presentation that concisely describes your research, and its potential benefits, to a non-specialist audience. The winning entry will represent Lund University in the 2021 Visualise Your Thesis International Competition, which will be held online and where the first prize is AUD 5,000.
The competition is open for registration until 30 April. Contestants then have until 31 May to submit their video.
