Three-Minute-Thesis (3MT) Tävling för doktorander
LU:s doktorander, som kommit halvvägs i sin utbildning, är välkomna att delta i den lokala U21-tävlingen 3MT. Deltagarna presenterar sin forskning på tre minuter, med hjälp av enbart en bild, inför jury och publik. Tävlingen, som är öppen för alla discipliner, hålls på engelska.
Den lokala vinnaren filmas och är sedan LU:s representant i den globala, virtuella U21-tävlingen senare under hösten. Alla anmälda deltagare erbjuds även en workshop som förberedelse inför tävlingen. Tävlingen arrangeras av sektionen Externa relationer i samarbete med Lunds Doktorandkår, LDK.

Three-Minute-Thesis (3MT) Competition for PhD students
All doctoral students in the second half of their studies are encouraged to take part in this year’s U21 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. This competition is an excellent opportunity to practice sharing your research findings with others and to have the chance to compete internationally and win a stipend! Live presentations will be given by the participating doctoral students, with just one slide, in 3 minutes or less.
A jury will select the winner of Lund University’s competition. All registered participants are offered a workshop on how to present a complex topic in a short period of time, prior to the competition. The competition is organised by the Division for External Relations in collaboration with Lund Doctoral Student Union, LDK.

Wallenberg resebidrag 2017:2
Resebidrag för kontaktresor utanför Europa Resebidragen från Knut och Alice Wallenbergs stiftelse syftar till att stärka Lunds universitets samarbete med universitet utanför Europa. Externa relationer ledigkungör härmed upp till 10 resebidrag på högst 20 000 kr för anställda – främst yngre disputerade forskare – vid Lunds universitet.
Resebidragen ska användas för kontaktresor till existerande och nya samarbetspartners utanför Europa. Syftet med resorna ska vara att diskutera, utveckla och planera för utbildnings- och forskningssamarbete av strategisk betydelse för Lunds universitets internationalisering.
Sista ansökningsdag är den 29 maj 2017. Resor kan göras fram till och med 31 december 2017.
Wallenberg travel grants 2017:2
Travel grants for contact trips outside Europe Travel grants from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation aims to strengthen Lund University's cooperation with universities outside Europe. External Relations now invites applications for up to 10 travel grants of up to SEK 20 000 for employees – primarily junior researchers with a PhD – at Lund University.
Travel grants will be used for contact trips to existing and new partners outside Europe. The purpose of the trips will be to discuss, develop and plan for education and research cooperation of strategic importance for Lund University's internationalisation.
Nyhetsbrevet från Externa relationer skickas ut varannan vecka under terminstid och informerar om aktuella aktiviteter inom området internationalisering vid Lunds universitet, samt på nationell och internationell nivå.
