Workshop:
Positioning Formulation in future EU Framework Programmes

15 February 2018

Formulated products are everywhere. They are the corner stone and most important value-adding step for many industrial sectors. Despite this, application-oriented research and innovation in formulation technologies has traditionally not been addressed in funding programmes, neither on a European nor on a national level.

This workshop aims at contributing to the development of a clear and structured research and innovation agenda for the upcoming next EU Framework Programme (FP9) as well as national programmes. The workshop will be part of a series of workshops organised in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and France.

It takes place within the context of AceForm4.0 initiative (www.formulation-network.eu), a Coordination and Support Action funded by the EU Commission, set up to establish and support collaborations across different formulation industries and throughout the value chain.

Who is this workshop intended for?

The workshop targets industrial and academic players interested in bringing formulation technologies to the next level through collaboration. Different mechanisms will be leveraged to facilitate the translation of the findings into concrete reckommendations for the next framework programme. Relevant national contact point and funding agency representatives will participate to support the process.
