Circuit breakers for DC Applications

NEVER USE AC-RATED MCBs IN DC-APPLICATIONS !

In many cases standard AC MCBs are used even in DC applications. But important to know is that DC currents are more difficult to handle due to the extinguishing of the arc. AC MCB’s could fail catastrophically when protection are needed the most. It may lead to property damage and worst case personal injury or fatalities.

Emcomp deliver dedicated battery circuit breakers, manufactured by CBI, especially for AC and DC. So you always have the right product which fit best and give you 100% protection.
