Expando recently participated as an exhibitor at the Association of Old Crows (AOC) meeting in Oslo this May.
We showcased our rugged computing and electronics solutions tailored for the Electronic Warfare, Surveillance, and Radar communities.
The name “Old Crows” originates from WWII, when Allied Radar Countermeasure operators, initially called “Ravens,” used receivers and transmitters to monitor and jam threat frequencies. Military jargon later evolved “Ravens” to “Crows.”
During the event, Expando established several new contacts with industry partners and potential customers, all of whom have high demands for cutting-edge, rugged computing solutions to meet their confidential needs.
We look forward to reconnecting at the next AOC Europe meeting in Rome in 2025.

Over the past month, Expando has secured a new customer in the Nordic Space market.
This partnership begins with the supply of space-grade electronic components, and we look forward to nurturing and developing this relationship as the Nordic space industry continues to grow.
The future looks promising for both civilian and military applications.

Additionally, Expando has secured substantial multi-million orders from major existing defense customers. These orders focus on rugged servers and rugged, embedded board computers for missile systems.
These significant orders highlight that Expando's focus on COTS/MOTS-based products with modifications aligns well with the increasing demand for timely deliveries, especially in the current high-demand environment where time is of the essence. |
