Dear Valued Customer,

Following our previous communication, we would like to inform you of the Emergency Energy Surcharge level for May 2026.

The average HVO price for April was 23.14 SEK/litre, resulting in the following surcharge level for May:

35 SEK per container move (loaded or discharged)

The surcharge will be applied to all container units handled over quay (loaded or discharged) during May. The surcharge reflects current energy costs and is adjusted monthly in line with market developments.

As previously communicated, the surcharge is based on the monthly average HVO price.

Recent development in HVO price (2024–2026)

The surcharge will be adjusted monthly according to the price of the specific HVO product used in our operations (see the details of the Emergency Energy Surcharge mechanism below).

For simplicity, the surcharge is derived from the price of HVO, specifically “Neste MY Renewable Diesel”.

At the end of each month, the average price for that month will be calculated and used to determine the surcharge level for the following month according to the mechanism above.
