Sending Domains

Why are valid sending domains important?

When sending emails with your company domain as the "from" email address domain (noreply@company.com), there are mechanisms (SPF, DKIM) to tell other mail servers around the world that Lime Newsletter (formerly BizWizard) is allowed to use your domain as a "from" domain. This helps emails avoid landing in spam and supports deliverability.

You can add and manage valid sending domains in Lime Marketing.

How do I configure sending domains?

In order to add sending domains, you must be an Administrator in Lime Marketing. You find Sending Domains in "Administration".

Add the domains you want to use as the "from" domain and follow the prompt to email instructions to your IT team.

When your IT team has successfully followed the instructions, the sending domain(s) should turn green after a while and you can start sending emails using that domain.

Where to start?

Add Your Sending Domain(s)

Share Instructions with IT Team
After adding a new sending domain, send instructions to your IT team on setting up the required configuration in the DNS. Send instructions by first clicking into the new domain you've added, and then clicking "Configuration Instructions" in the top toolbar on the next page. The following needs to be set up:
  • Verification record to prove that you are the owner of the domain
  • DKIM record which adds verification of the "from" domain in the newsletter emails
  • DMARC record (not yet required) which adds a policy with instructions what to do for emails being sent without valid deliverability settings. This is a policy for receiving email server to follow

⚠️ Please note: Today, a warning (below) is shown when using an invalid domain. However, valid sending domains will soon be required to send emails from Lime Newsletter.
