Lund University’s Annual Celebration 2025 Lund University warmly invites alumni, students, staff and friends to participate in the University’s Annual Celebration on 31 January at 16:00. This formal ceremony honours the University’s undergraduate education and traditionally takes place around King Charles’ name day – the day Lund University was inaugurated in 1668. 31 January
Facebook Live: How does Trump affect the world economy? With threats of tariffs, deportations and the annexation of Greenland, President Trump creates uncertainty. How will the world change? The conversation will be broadcast live (in Swedish) on facebook.com/lundsuniversitet. Ask your questions during the broadcast to Maria Persson, Associate Professor and Researcher in Economics. 4 February
Grand Festive Concert at Science Village Hall Welcome to a grand festive concert at Science Village Hall as Odeum inaugurates its event series in Lund’s newly built concert hall! The evening offers musical experiences of world-class quality with no fewer than five choirs connected to Lund’s student and university life. The concert is very popular, so please note that if you do not get a ticket, Odeum has more events at Science Village Hall during the spring. 1 March
The Anniversary Year This year marks 25 years since Campus Helsingborg was established. Throughout the year, a variety of activities and events will be organised to celebrate the anniversary.
Valentine's Day at Vattenhallen Science Center❤️ Evening show in the Planetarium. Doors open at 18:00 for mingling. At 18:30, the show "Supermassive Black Holes" begins and lasts for 45 minutes. 14 February
Forum for Gender Equality 2025 Lund University is a co-organiser of this national conference that, for the first time, has a university partner. The conference will take place at The Loop in Science Village. 5-6 February
Sustainability Week Sustainability Week is an annual event where Lund University and the City of Lund fill a week with activities related to sustainability. During the week, both current societal challenges and hopeful future visions are explored through lectures, workshops, debates, exhibitions, guided tours and more! 5-10 May
