Procedures for the production of publications at the CEC The CEC (Director Per Persson) has adopted procedures for producing syntheses, reports and policy briefs. The reason is both quality assurance and that researchers should be able to get better support. You can read more about the procedures on our staff pages on the web. There you will also find a checklist of things to consider. The most important thing in brief: Contact the overall responsible for publications (Markku Rummukainen) and the communications officer at CEC (Anna Maria Erling) in good time if you have plans for a publication. (NOTE this is not about scientific papers in scientific journals.) Production of publications | Centre for Environmental and Climate Science (CEC) (lu.se)
Public Holiday Tuesday, 6 June is a public holiday and Monday is bridge day which means that at least the administration will be out of office.
Reduced administrative support during summer During the summer (weeks 26-32) the administrative support will be reduced. This includes finance support, HR support, student administration as well as research administration and collaboration (BECC, MERGE, LU Land, Sustainability Forum, ClimBeco and Agenda 2030 research school). We ask for your understanding that during this period only urgent matters will be handled. Available contact for urgent matters during this period are specified on CEC's websites (Staff pages | Centre for Environmental and Climate Science (CEC) (lu.se))
- Invoices: Process your invoices before you take leave to avoid late payment fees.
- Credit card payments: Using the CEC credit card for payments will not be available during the summer months, please make other arrangements.

How to cite data from ICOS, ACTRIS or SITES The three research infrastructures ICOS, ACTRIS and SITES are providing open data (mainly) through their data portals for fair use. By downloading and using the data, you agree on the data license, which includes that the data origin should be cited. To support you with this, we updated the information about how to cite data from these RIs on our website. We would also like to encourage you to manually link your publications that are connected to the RIs in the LU's research portal LUCRIS to the respective infrastructure (e.g. ICOS Sweden, ACTRIS Sweden, ICOS Carbon Portal). Both help us to show that the RIs are actually being used which is important for their future financial support.
