EUGLOH Connect – ett verktyg för match-making
EUGLOH-alliansen har lanserat ett nytt verktyg för att underlätta kontaktskapande mellan alliansens medlemsuniversitet – verktyget heter EUGLOH Connect!

Med hjälp av verktyget kan både personal och stu-denter lättare hitta kollegor att jobbskugga, möjligheter till praktik, utlysningar, gästföreläsare, nya samarbeten, med mera.
 
LU-personal är duktiga på att åka i väg på personal-mobilitet inom Erasmus-programmet och genom EUGLOH Connect kan vi erbjuda folk att komma hit.

Lägg gärna upp ett erbjudande om att ta emot kollegor från våra EUGLOH-universitet. Du lägger själv upp din annons via webbsidan. Det är upp till dig hur detalj-erad du vill vara och du väljer själv den tidsperiod som passar bäst för att ta emot besök.

EUGLOH Connect – a match-making tool
The EUGLOH alliance has launched a new tool to facilitate networking between the alliance member universities. The tool is called EUGLOH Connect.

With the help of this tool, both staff and students will more easily find colleagues to job shadow, find internship opportunities, announcements, guest lecturers, new collaborations, and more.

LU staff are good at going on staff mobility within the Erasmus programme, and through EUGLOH Connect we can also offer people the opportunity to come here.
 
Please, consider posting an offer to host colleagues from our EUGLOH universities. You can post your announcement on the website yourself. It is up to you how detailed you want to be, and you can choose the time that suits you best for hosting visitors.

CASI-webbinarium om akademiskt samarbete med USA 12 maj
CASI-projektet arrangerar ett webbinarium den 12 maj kl 15:00 – 16:00 om USA för att skapa bättre förståelse av hur svenska lärosäten och akademiskt samarbete med USA kan påverkas av pågående förändringar. Webbinariet kommer att beskriva USA:s forsknings-finansiering och relationerna mellan universitet, delstater och den federala nivån.

CASI Webinar on Academic Cooperation with the USA 12 May
The CASI project is organising a webinar on 12 May from 15:00 – 16:00 on the USA for a better under-standing of how Swedish higher education institutions and academic cooperation with the USA may be affected by current changes. The webinar will describe US research funding and the relationships between universities, states and the federal level.

Med planeringsbidrag kan ni som har en tydlig projektidé få en möjlighet att utveckla en konkurrenskraftig ansökan till en utan-nonserad internationell utlysning. En internationell utlysning innebär en utlysning inom vilken ansök-ningarna utvärderas i internationell konkurrens.

VINNOVA: Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Do you want to make better project applications and increase the opportunities for funding through inter-national calls for proposals? Then this is an offer for you. With a planning grant, you can work in a project to develop a competitive proposal with Swedish participation to an international call for proposals.

Internationella satsningar 2025 – aktuella utlysningar
Som ett led i arbetet med Globalt dynamiskt engagemang (GDE) utlyser Lunds universitet medel för att stimulera samarbeten och aktiviteter som stärker vårt internationella genomslag inom forskning, utbildning, innovation och samverkan.

Det rör sig om fyra utlysningar med 17 april som sista ansökningsdag. Samtliga aktiviteter ska vara genomförda senast den 31 juli 2026.

International Impact Actions 2025 – current calls
As part of the work with Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE), Lund University is announcing four calls for funding to stimulate collaboration and activities that strengthen our international impact in research, education, innovation and cooperation.

Deadline for application is 17 April, and funded activities should be completed no later than 31 July 2026.

U21 Early Career Researcher Workshop 2025
Workshoppen främjar internationellt nätverkande och tvärvetenskaplig forskning för forskare i början av karriären. Temat, Att leva väl genom livets olika skeden, utforskar samhällsutmaningar såsom hälso- och sjukvård, sociala ojämlikheter, välbefinnande, hållbarhet och global hälsa.

Workshoppen äger rum vid University of Nottingham den 1–5 september 2025 och välkomnar forskare från alla discipliner med en doktorsexamen och upp till åtta års postdoktoral erfarenhet. Resa och boende bekostas av Lunds universitet.

Skicka din ansökan till Isabelle Nilsson isabelle.nilsson@er.lu.se senast den 17 april. Urvalet kommer prioritera en bred representation av fakulteter.

Ansökan får omfatta högst 500 ord och ska besvara följande frågor:
  1. Vilket år tog du din doktorsexamen?
  2. Varför är denna workshop relevant för dig och din forskning?
  3. Beskriv varför du vill delta och vilka fördelar du tror att det kan ge.
  4. Deltog du i någon fysisk aktivitet utomlands under 2024 som finansierades av Lunds universitet?
U21 Early Career Researcher Workshop 2025
The Early Career Workshop fosters international networking and interdisciplinary research for early-career academics. The theme, Living Well Across the Life Course, explores societal challenges like healthcare, social disparities, wellbeing, sustainability and global health.

Held at the University of Nottingham on 1-5 September 2025, it welcomes researchers from all disciplines with a PhD and up to eight years of post-PhD experience. Travel & accommodation is covered by Lund University.

Send your application to Isabelle Nilsson (isabelle.nilsson@er.lu.se) by 17 April. The selection process will prioritise broad faculty representation.

The application should address the following questions and not exceed more than 500 words.
  1. What year did you earn your PhD?
  2. Why is this workshop relevant to you and your research?
  3. Describe why you would like to attend this workshop and what benefits you think it might bring?
  4. Did you participate in any in-person activities abroad during 2024 that was funded by Lund University?

Inom ramen för ACCESS (Academic Collaboration Chile Sweden) har doktorander, lärare och forskare från alla ämnesområden möjlighet att delta i näst-kommande års ACCESS-forum som består av 13 forskningsspår s.k. ”Research themes”.

Participate in the ACCESS Forum in Concepción 12–16 January 2026

Within the framework of ACCESS (Academic Collaboration Chile Sweden) we offer the opportunity for PhD students, teachers and researchers from all fields to participate in one of the 13 Research Themes of the ACCESS Forum 2026.

You apply through the ACCESS homepage, deadline for applications is 21 April.

Current calls – Baltic University Programme
The BUP Symposium
The BUP Symposium is an event where colleagues at BUP participating universities can disseminate recent research, initiate new discussions, and foster future collaborations. The theme is 'Strengthening the Security and Resilience of the Baltic Sea Region – Environmental, Political, Social, and Economic Shocks and Crises', and the Symposium will be held on-site in Uppsala, Sweden, between 26-28 November 2025. The last day to submit an abstract is 16 May 2025.

The BUP Mobility Grant
The aim of the grant is to develop and strengthen cooperation among young researchers in the Baltic Sea Region, at BUP participating universities, by covering travel and accommodation for a research project. The awarded maximum is a total value of EUR 3,000. The last application day is 30 April 2025.

The BUP PhD Award
This award is a distinction given to the authors of what is judged to be the most qualified PhD work defended at any of the BUP participating universities. The winners will receive a prize in the form of a diploma and support of up to EUR 1,000 for either attending a scientific conference or publishing in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. The nomination deadline is 25 May 2025.
