CASI-webbinarium om vetenskapsdiplomati –           6 november kl 15.15
I ett föränderligt geopolitiskt sammanhang diskuteras vetenskapsdiplomati alltmer. Men vad är vetenskaps-diplomati och vilken roll är lämplig för universitet?

Detta webbinarium kommer att presentera vetenskapsdiplomati, diskutera möjliga roller för universitet och hur vetenskapsdiplomati kan främja internationellt akademiskt samarbete.

In a changing geopolitical context, science diplomacy is increasingly being discussed. But what is science diplomacy and what role is appropriate for universities?

This webinar will present science diplomacy, discuss possible roles of universities and how science diplomacy can promote international academic cooperation.

Utlysning: Stimulansmedel för forsknings- och utbildningssamarbete med utvalda partneruniversitet (GloHub)
Som ett led i arbetet med Globalt dynamiskt enga-gemang (GDE) utlyser Lunds universitet medel för att stimulera samarbeten och aktiviteter som stärker vårt internationella genomslag inom forskning, utbildning, innovation och samverkan.

Målgrupp
Disputerade forskare som är anställda vid Lunds universitet och kollegor vid National University of Singapore, UC Berkeley och University of Melbourne.

Bidrag
Maximalt 60 000 kr per bidrag.

Ändamål
Aktiviteter i form av workshoppar, möten och mindre projekt som syftar till att utforska och utveckla sam-arbeten som har potential att leda till långsiktiga partnerskap, externt finansierade projekt och gemen-samma publikationer/utbildningsinitiativ. Aktiviteterna ska äga rum senast den 31 december 2025.

Call for applications: Seed funding for research and education collaborations with select partner universities (GloHub)
As part of the work with Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE), Lund University is announcing calls for funding to stimulate collaboration and activities that strengthen our international impact in research, education, innovation and cooperation.

Target group
Researchers with a PhD degree who are employed at Lund University and colleagues at National University of Singapore, UC Berkeley and University of Melbourne.

Grant
Maximum SEK 60 000 per award.

Purpose
Activities like joint workshops, meetings or a specific smaller project that aim to explore and develop collaborations that have the potential to lead to a sustainable partnership, externally funded projects and joint publications/education initiatives. Activities must take place by 31 December 2025.

LERU sommarskola för doktorander 22–27 juni 2025 vid Köpenhamns universitet
“Artificial Intelligence across University Disciplines – Perspectives and Hands-on Experience”

Varje år anordnar en eller flera medlemmar i LERU, League of European Research Universities, LERU Doctoral Summer School. Syftet med sommarskolan är att ge doktorander möjlighet till professionell och personlig utveckling.

Temat för LERU:s sommarskola för doktorander 2025 är “Artificial Intelligence across University Disciplines – Perspectives and Hands-on Experience”. Sommar-skolan syftar till att förse doktorander från olika discipliner med både teoretiska och praktiska perspektiv på artificiell intelligens.
 
Sista ansökningsdatum är den 15 januari 2025.

Lunds universitet täcker kostnaden på 600 euro för de doktorander från LU som antas till kursen (maximalt 3 doktorander). I avgiften ingår kursmaterial, boende, en del måltider och själva kursdeltagandet.

LERU Doctoral Summer School on 22–27 June 2025 at University of Copenhagen
“Artificial Intelligence across University Disciplines – Perspectives and Hands-on Experience”

Each year, one or more members of LERU, the League of European Research Universities, organise and host the LERU Doctoral Summer School. The aim of the summer school is to provide doctoral students with opportunities for professional and personal development.

The theme of the LERU Doctoral Summer School 2025 is “Artificial Intelligence across University Disciplines – Perspectives and Hands-on Experience”. The summer school aims at furnishing PhD students from a multitude of subjects with both theoretical perspectives on Artificial Intelligence and group-based hands-on experience.

Application deadline is 15 January 2025.

Lund University will cover the participation cost of EUR 600 for those PhD students from Lund who are accepted to the course (maximum 3 PhD students). This includes course materials, accommodation, some of the meals and course participation.

An online conference taking place on 26-28 November 2024. The Munin Conference is an annual event dedicated to the exploration of scholarly publishing and open access. The conference aims to address the evolving landscape of academic publishing and the growing movement towards open access.

The webinar takes place on 25-28 November 2024 and is part of a webinar series aimed at promoting gender equality and preventing gender-based violence across the nine universities in the EUGLOGH Alliance.

Informationsmöte om Erasmus+ samarbetspartnerskap
Välkommen till ett seminarium där du får veta mer om möjligheterna inom Erasmus+ samarbetspartnerskap. Det digitala seminariet äger rum den 14 november kl 09.00-12.00 och är kostnadsfritt.

Aktiviteter som du och din organisation kan söka bidrag för är bland annat planering/administration, nätverksevenemang och lärandeaktiviteter. Även möten för att utbyta erfarenheter och ta fram lärande-material, samt anordnande av konferenser är möjliga aktiviteter inom ett samarbetspartnerskap.

Sista anmälningsdag är den 13 november.

Information meeting on Erasmus+ Cooperation partnerships
Welcome to a seminar where you will learn more about the opportunities within Erasmus+ Cooperation partnerships. The digital seminar (in Swedish) takes place on 14 November from 09:00 to 12:00 and is free of charge.

Activities for which you can apply for funding include planning/administration, networking events, meetings, conferences and learning activities. Meetings for exchanging experiences and developing learning materials, as well as organising conferences, are also possible activities within a cooperation partnership.

The deadline for registration is 13 November.

Samarbeta med Chile inom ACCESS! Resebidrag för forskare
Nästa ACCESS Forum äger rum i Concepción, Chile, 12–16 januari 2026.

Utlysning för ”Principal Investigator (PI)” att skicka in förslag för att leda ett tvärvetenskapligt forskar-seminarium (ett s k ”Research Theme”) är nu öppen.

Utlysningen är öppen för alla ämnesområden och stänger den 17 november 2024:
  • Ansökan måste skrivas tillsammans med chilensk motpart från ett ACCESS-lärosäte. Sökande måste ha disputerat.
  • För hjälp med att etablera kontakt med chilenska forskare, hör av dig till: access@er.lu.se
  • PI:er vars förslag väljs ut får ett resebidrag på upp till 30 000 kr
OBS! Forskare och doktorander som vill delta på 2026 års ACCESS Forum (ej som PI) kommer ges möjlighet att ansöka om resebidrag under vårterminen 2025.

Collaboration with Chile within ACCESS! Travel grants for researchers
The next ACCESS Forum will take place in Concepción, Chile on 12–16 January 2026.

The call for Principal Investigators (PI) to submit research theme proposals is now open.

The call is open for all subject areas and deadline for submission is 17 November 2024:
  • The proposal must be designed together with a Chilean counterpart from an ACCESS member university. Both PIs must have a PhD at the time of application.
  • If you need help getting in touch with a Chilean counterpart, please contact access@er.lu.se
  • PIs whose proposals are selected will receive a travel grant of up to SEK 30,000
NOTE: Researchers and PhD students who would like to attend the 2026 Forum as a participant (not as a PI) will be given the opportunity to apply for a travel grant during the spring semester 2025.

Call for applications – Campus France Visiting Fellowship Programme for Early Career Researchers
Application deadline 5 December 2024

The French Ministry has launched the MOPGA (Make Our Planet Great Again) Visiting Fellowship Programme, aimed at strengthening scientific contributions to climate change issues highlighted by the COPs.

60 fellowships will be awarded for a 12-month period (€ 2,500/month) from September 2025.

Who may apply?
  • Foreign researchers holding a doctoral degree for less than 5 years (thesis defense between December 2019 and December 2024)
  • No nationality restrictions (except France)
Research Themes:
  • Earth systems
  • Climate change and sustainability
  • Energy transition
  • Societal challenges of environmental issues
  • Human, animal and ecosystem health as part as a "One Health" approach
