7 October | Book Club: Author Talk with Amanda Svensson | Zoom | 12:00 CEST
Amanda Svensson had her major breakthrough with the debut novel Hey Dolly (2008) and has since published several acclaimed books. There is still time to read the Book Club's pick, Själens Telegraf, before the author talk on 7 October at 12:00. The talk will be held in Swedish.

13 October | Debate in Lund | Grand Hotel, Stora Salen | 19:00
Is globalisation dead – and if so, should we mourn it? An engaging discussion (in Swedish) about the future of globalisation and its consequences for society.

20 reserved seats
Debatt i Lund is open to the public, but the Alumni Network has reserved 20 seats for members so you won't have to queue for a spot. However, you must register to claim one of these seats. First come, first served.
Everyone who registers will also receive the recording afterwards.

8 November | Alumni event and "Only Brahms" concert | Science Village Hall, the Loop, Lund | 16:00
Alumni event with Odeum and the Academic Orchestra. The evening begins with an alumni mingle together with representatives from Lund University and Odeum, followed by a concert featuring works by Johannes Brahms, including his First Piano Concerto in D minor. Markus Kvint is the soloist and Patrik Andersson is the conductor.

60 free seats are available for alumni
Registration required. Spots will be allocated on a rolling basis until capacity is reached. (The concert is open to the public with ticket purchase.)

The School of Economics and Management invites all LU alumni to the Alumni Career Talk: Careers in Denmark, where LUSEM alumni share their career journeys and provide insights into the Danish labour market.

Alumni Mingle hosted by Lund University, in close collaboration with the Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM).

28 October | New York, USA
Biotech Unlocked: Future Food Systems and Value Chains
An exciting event organised by the Lund University Foundation in collaboration with the Swedish Consulate, featuring speakers from Lund University, Tetra Pak and Oatly. This event will be held at the Swedish residence and explore technology, market and industry within global food systems. The invitation is aimed at people working in the food supply chain, investors and researchers in the field of green transition. Interested in attending? Please send a request to info@alumni.lu.se

Alumni event at the Residence of the Swedish Ambassador, together with eight leading universities in Sweden and South Korea. More information coming soon.
