University of Zurich announce the call for this year’s UZH Global Funding Scheme 
Deadline for applications: 15 August 2025

The Global Funding Scheme offers three distinct funding lines, open to academic and professional services staff at UZH in partnership with colleagues at Lund University:
  • Global Outreach Fund: Grants of up to CHF 5,000 to increase global visibility of UZH excellence 
  • Global Seed Fund: Grants of up to CHF 5,000 to help develop larger global initiatives 
  • Global Champion Fund: Grants ranging from CHF 20,000 to 60,000 to support projects with strong potential for long-term institutional collaboration

Erbjudandet riktar sig till er som vill fördjupa samarbetet med parter i USA, Storbritannien och Singapore inom hälsa och Life science. Syftet med projektet ska vara att möjliggöra ett långsiktigt innovationssamarbete med något av ovanstående länder.

The call is aimed at those of you who wish to deepen collaboration with partners in the US, UK and Singapore within health and Life Science. The purpose of the project should be to enable long-term research and innovation collaboration.

Nytt stöd för att skriva en Horisont Europa-ansökan
Sista ansökningsdag: 15 oktober 2025

Stiftelsen för Strategisk Forskning (SSF) fortsätter att stödja svenska forskare i arbetet med att söka bidrag inom programmet Horisont Europa (HEU), EU:s ramprogram för forskning och innovation.

Utlysningen riktar sig till forskare inom naturvetenskap, teknik eller medicin vid svenska universitet eller forskningsinstitut som ansöker om rollen som projektkoordinator till HEU Pelare 2 projekt under 2025.

New Application Support for EU Horizon Europe Research
Deadline for applications: 15 October 2025

The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) continues to support Swedish researchers in applying for grants under the Horizon Europe Programme (HEU), the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

The call is aimed at researchers in science, technology or medicine at Swedish universities or research institutes who apply for the role of project coordinator for HEU Pillar 2 projects in 2025.

Apply for EUGLOH funding to develop new COILs, courses and joint programmes
Deadline 1 October 2025

You can apply for funding to develop COILs (Collaborative Online International Learning), new courses and programmes in collaboration with colleagues from EUGLOH universities. The call is recurring annually and the funding can be used to cover staff costs as well as travel costs.

Skapa nya kontakter för samarbeten och bjud in gästföreläsare
EUGLOH Connect är en digital plattform där du kan etablera nya internationella kontakter. Du kan exempelvis hitta gästföreläsare, nya kollegor att samarbeta med och olika samarbeten inom forskning eller utbildning med EUGLOH's olika partneruniversitet. EUGLOH Connect möjliggör också kontakter som kan leda till skapandet av COILs (Collaborative Online International Learning), gemensamma kurser, gemensamma program eller andra typer av samarbeten.

EUGLOH Connect is a digital platform for establishing new international contacts. You can find guest lecturers, new colleagues for collaboration in research or education at the EUGLOH partner universities. Sverige-Amerika Stiftelsen utlyser stipendier för läsåret 2026-2027
Sista ansökningsdag: 15 september 2025
Observera att sökande måste vara svensk medborgare.

Sverige-Amerika Stiftelsen delar ut stipendier i kontanter för master- och doktorandstudier samt postdoktoral forskning i USA och Kanada. Ansökan görs på engelska.
