Explore all the international opportunities offered through Lund University

The International Opportunities Week is a webinar series about international opportunities for students. Every day between Monday 18 November and Thursday 21 November we will have a webinar on a topic related to how to gain international experience while studying at Lund University.

Learn from staff and students

During each webinar you will hear from staff who will tell you about the different opportunities available and students who will share their experiences. All webinars will start 17:00 (no academic quarter) and will last for approximately 45 minutes. The webinars will be held in English.

All webinars are aimed at Swedish and international students from all study areas and all study levels.

Monday 18 November – Short exchanges

During this webinar you will learn about how to go on a short exchange. By short exchange we refer to an exchange that is minimum 2 days and maximum a month.

A moderator will ask practical questions to a Lund University staff member involved in short exchange programs, as well as to a student who has participated in one, focusing on the logistical aspects and personal experiences. As a listener, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Tuesday 19 November – International experience without leavning Lund

Learn about different activities you can participate in to gain international experience, both digitally and in person!

A moderator will ask practical questions to a Lund University staff member involved in the international mentor programme, a staff member working with U21 and EUGLOH, and a student who’s experienced one of these unique opportunities. As a listener, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Wednesday 20 November – collecting data abroad for a thesis with Crafoord Foundation travel grant

During this webinar you will learn about collecting data and writing a thesis abroad. You will learn about the Crafoord Foundation travel grant and listen to a student who experience from writing a thesis abroad.

A moderator will lead a discussion with a Lund University staff member involved with the Crafoord Foundation travel grant and a student who used the grant to support their data collection, sharing insights into the process and experience. As a participant, you’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions.

Thursday 21 November – doing a traineeship abroad

Interested in doing an traineeship abroad? Then this webinar is for you!

A moderator will lead a discussion with a Lund University staff member managing the Erasmus+ traineeship grant and a student who completed a traineeship supported by the grant, sharing their experience and how they navigated the process. As a participant, you’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions.
