Kunskap är en förutsättning för förändring. Desto fler som har kunskap desto större blir kravet på förändring. Fler behöver se behovet av att reformera planering, avgifts- och regelsättning av vår infrastruktur. Det är lågt hängande frukter om vi samlar kraft och mod. Men vi behöver vara kraftfulla och modiga nu – inte sen. För vi är redan där. Det är ’sen’ nu.
Redan 2012 tydliggjorde Trafikverkets regeringsuppdrag ’Kapacitetsutredningen’ att Sverige inte kommer att ha råd att bygga den infrastruktur som behövs för att klara framtidens transportbehov av person och gods. Den lösning som presenterades var att med bättre smartness använda det vi redan har, att nyttja hela infrastruktur systemet tillsammans; väg, järnväg, flyg OCH sjöfart.
Bara i Mälarhamnarna finns 85% ledig kapacitet, sett över ett år. Det finns alltså massor av ledig kapacitet i det samlade infrastruktursystemet, men den nyttjas inte. Det enda som behövs för att nyttja den lediga kapaciteten är att Sverige säkerställer att godset tar vattenvägen så stor del av transporten som möjligt.
Att nationella beslutande organ inte ger förutsättningar för en ökad sjöfart är ett enormt resursslöseri; lokalt, regionalt och nationellt! |

Knowledge is a prerequisite for change. The more people who have knowledge, the greater the demand for change. We want more people who see the need to reform the planning, charging and regulation of Sweden´s infrastructure. It is low-hanging fruit if we gather strength and courage. But we need to be strong and courageous now - not later. Because we're already there.
As early as 2012, the Swedish Transport Administration's government assignment ‘Capacity Inquiry’ made it clear that Sweden will not be able to afford to build the infrastructure needed to meet the transport needs of people and goods in the future. The solution that was presented was to use what we already have with better smartness, to use the entire system of infrastructure together; road, railway, air AND sea.
In Mälarhamnarna alone, there is 85% spare capacity over a year. There is thus spare capacity in the overall infrastructure system, but it is not used. The only thing needed to utilize the spare capacity is for Sweden to ensure that the goods take as much of the transport as possible by water.
The fact that national decision-making bodies do not provide the conditions for increased transports by sea is a huge waste of resources; locally, regionally and nationally! |
