Sanctions and Export Controls – A New Era?
Mannheimer Swartling and [AT+ICA]
WHEN:   FRIDAY 17 JUNE 2022 AT 09.00-12.30 CET
WHERE: VIA TEAMS or IN PERSON AT MANNHEIMER SWARTLING, NORRLANDSGATAN 21, STOCKHOLM

We have updated the agenda with speakers including the European Commission speaking on export control and also other specialised lawyers of various EU jurisdictions.

Russia’s war on Ukraine has triggered an unprecedented coordinated response from the international community, with extensive sanctions regimes being introduced. A new security landscape is quickly evolving in Europe and has led to applications from Sweden and Finland to join NATO.

Following our webinar series on sanctions against Russia, Mannheimer Swartling invites you to an extended half-day conference with three panel sessions on sanctions and export controls, and an outlook on how these instruments will evolve in the future.

We are pleased to host this event together with specialised sanctions and export control lawyers from the international network AT+ICA (the European Association of Trade + Investment Control and Compliance Attorneys), who will share their experiences and the expected outlook from their respective jurisdictions. The three panel sessions will focus on how new alliances and security policy may affect the manner in which sanctions and export controls are used, and how this will affect business.

This will be a hybrid physical/virtual event, with a number of seats available in the auditorium of our Stockholm office on Norrlandsgatan 21, as well as a broadcasting via Teams for those who prefer to attend online. Please specify your preference when registering. Those attending via Teams will receive an email with a participation link and joining instructions shortly before the event.
