In LIGHTer, we are now ending our fifth year. It still feels very exciting, and this year we have really dared to renew ourselves. We have updated the content of LIGHTer Memebership Programme. We have started LIGHTer Product Optimization. We want to thank LIGHTer Academy, who have helped us starting a new form of projects to create technical leaps. We have also started updating our Lightweight Agenda. In September, we took important steps to enable lightweight to create environmental benefits and growth in the construction sector.
A big thank you to everybody for good and inspiring collaborations!
We wish you really pleasant holidays, with family and friends, and new energy for 2019! Next year is full of interesting events. Our first workshop is already January 31st. Welcome!

| With this joint call, Vinnova is offering public funding for joint R&D projects between Swedish and German small and medium-sized enterprises (in this call up to 499 employees). The aim of the call is to create the conditions to initiate joint R&D projects to develop products, technology-based services or methods within all technological and application areas, which will in subsequent steps generate sustainable solutions with market potential and potential to address societal challenges. Deadline for applying is March 13th, 2019. |

In the first quarter of 2019 LIGHTer are planing a study tour to light-weight facilitites in France. We have choosen French partners in the ELCA – European Lightweight Cluster Alliance, a cluster where LIGHTer is active.
The partners we plan to visit are Technocampus Composites, which includes the IRT Jules Vernes research center premises and labs in Nantes.
