| Hyssna Forest Resort, located 50 kilometers east of Gothenburg, was featured in the Times this autumn as one of the best forest stays in Europe. |
 |
Hyssna Forest Resort, a peaceful escape designed for unwinding and reconnecting with nature, now has a total of five cabins. The existing Treetop Cabin, Cliffhang Cabin, and Creek Cabin have now been joined by The Ranger’s Cabin and The Skyland Cabin.
All cabins include a kitchen, bathroom and a private outdoor area with a hot tub and grill. Breakfast is delivered directly to the cabin, with the option to order additional meal packages. The resort sits close to two lakes which are ideal for swimming, kayaking, and fishing, as well as the scenic Hyssnaleden hiking trail. |

At the heart of The Rangers Cabin is a spacious terrace designed for pure relaxation, complete with a hot outdoor spa, fireplace, and grill. Perfect for two guests, you can settle into the armchairs by the fire, feel the warmth spread, and watch the evening sun sink behind the treetops.
Continue up the staircase to the upper floor - a peaceful space surrounded by windows with 360° views of the forest and sky. Here you will find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area with panoramic views, and a cosy lounge where you can unwind above the treetops. |

Skyland Cabin rises above the forest, offering a private treetop escape with a hot outdoor spa, a softly cascading waterfall feature, and a grill. The gentle sound of running water creates a peaceful, oasis-like atmosphere on the terrace.
Inside, large windows open to calming views, with a cosy lounge, kitchen and dining area. The cabin sleeps up to four guests, with a double bed in a sleeping alcove and two single beds in the loft, along with a bathroom. |

| A new article published in December 2025 highlights the outcome of a group press trip in collaboration with Visit Sweden. |
 |
The trip focused on West Sweden’s coastal food experiences, with visits to seafood producers and restaurants in Gothenburg’s archipelago and along the Bohuslän coast. The programme included visits to mussel and oyster farms, seaweed initiatives, and meetings with local businesses working with sustainable food.
The article received strong attention in Germany and was picked up by 20 regional newspapers, including Die Welt, one of the country’s leading quality newspapers, reaching a combined audience of 1.76 million readers.
This broad media pickup and the collaboration with coastal food producers help position West Sweden as an attractive destination for sustainable nature- and food-focused travel. |

| On Saturday 13 December, Sweden celebrates Lucia, one of the country’s most cherished winter traditions. |
 |
Dressed in white, people gather in homes, schools, workplaces and churches to welcome the bearer of light during the darkest time of year. At the centre is Lucia, wearing a wreath of candles and leading a choir singing beautiful, uplifting songs.
Although linked to Saint Lucia of Syracuse, the tradition also draws from older midwinter celebrations once held around the winter solstice - festive, imaginative gatherings with singing, costumes, schnapps and folklore. Today, Lucia brings light, music and togetherness to Sweden each December.
