Visit by Anna Lindstedt Ambassador of Sweden to China and Mongolia, Alumni Homecoming Weekend, and Focus Asia
October and November offer a range of events at the Centre. We are pleased to welcome Ambassador Anna Lindstedt on 12 October who will talk about China's environmental policies and climate strategy. On 20 October the Centre is participating in the alumni homecoming event that is part of Lund University's 350 anniversary celebrations. We are happy to welcome back alumni Niall Duggan, Elinor Lumbang, and Sune Petersen who will share their experiences with current and former students. In October we are also organising yet another Focus Asia event that this year addresses financial inclusion and microcredits in Asia.

At its recent board meeting the Centre adopted a strategic plan that outlines its priorities and goals for the coming two years and builds on Lund University's strategic plan. The Centre aims to continue its work to develop cutting-edge research and strengthen its national and international contacts. We also hope to welcome more visiting researchers from East and South-East Asia in the future. You can read the strategic plan here.

With best wishes
