At Lund University, we firmly believe in working across national and institutional boundaries to address global challenges. In line with this commitment, we are pleased to announce that the call for this year’s Get Started Funding opens today, 26 February.
The seed funding supports collaborative research between researchers at Lund University and selected partner universities in countries newly associated to Horizon Europe. Funds of SEK 32,000 per award are available for Lund University-Swiss/UK/Ukrainian partnerships and SEK 75,000 for Lund University-Canadian/Egyptian/Japanese/Korean/New Zealand partnerships.
The application deadline is 15 April. Applicants will be notified of outcomes during May. Funded collaborative activities must take place before 1 December 2026.
As a key partner, we would greatly appreciate if you shared this opportunity with researchers who may be interested in connecting with Lund University colleagues and apply for joint funding. The Lund University researcher must submit the application, but the funds support networking activities such as visits and meetings for researchers at both our institutions.
