Her host is Hakim Abdi and she will be visiting CEC for 3 months until the middle of June, working with Hakim on the remote sensing part of the thesis. She can be found in the flex-office.

The future of LU Land
The collaboration platform LU Land – Land-use for a sustainable future, has been running since 2019, funded by a thematic collaboration initiatives grant from Lund University. Recently, Lund University has taken the decision to (for the time being) not open calls for new collaboration initiatives or to prolong existing ones. However, LU Land is alive and kicking, and we are working on a long-term financial solution. Until then, we will focus on our well-attended monthly breakfast seminars. Other activities will also be arranged, but the extent will depend on available funding. For more information, please contact juliana.danhardt@cec.lu.se

What's up?

Johan Kjellberg Jensen from CEC is one of two honorary laureates at this year's Lund University Agenda 2030 award ceremony and will be giving a presentation at the event on Friday, 21 April 2023.
