Pacing CapperTM– Our new capping machine
We have designed a new single head capping machine to replace our popular models TK30 and EC-40. The new capping machine is designed with a focus on high reliability and flexibility. It is capable of capping up to 35 packages per minute.
Packages travel at a steady pace under the cap tightening unit and sidebelts keep them reliably and securely in place during capping so nothing is spilled on the outside of the package.
A touch panel is used to manoeuvre and control the operation. The machine stores information about the dimensions of the package in its software so it can swiftly change over between package formats. No format parts need to be changed out unless the cap is different. Those format parts are quick to change.
Floating Capper TM – Options for new possibilities
The latest order for our Floating Capper is from a company in the chemical industry. They have a large range of standard packages which means the Floating Capper must be able to switch between about 20 different package and cap format combinations. They will be capping packages with regular screw caps and smaller series of irregular caps, trigger capping and dispenser pumps.
In this project we have opted to outfit the standard Floating Capper with a module for trigger capping which is mounted inside the machine enclosure which requires no extra floor space. The unusally large number of format combinations is handled by format parts that are changed out manually with the turn of a handle. Floating Capper already has short change over times with automated positioning via recipe change.
For a manufacturer with many different formats a Floating Capper can replace several separate machines in one line.
